The Fine City certainly has many sights which can inspire artistry.

A new display of work by local artists shows some of these views and others.

Breckland Artists is a diverse group of 13 artists, living and working in the south west of the county, who originally got together following participation in the Norfolk Open Studios scheme a decade ago.

The group's longevity and appeal owes much to the diversity of subject matter and the range of techniques employed. Breckland Artists' reputation for work of the highest standards continues to grow, and it has established itself as one of Norfolk's premier professional groups.

The group, which includes artists and makers specialising in painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, glass, photography, textiles and silver smith designs, are bringing an eclectic and vibrant mix of work to The Forum after their successful exhibition in 2013 to delight and inspire the people of Norfolk.

Marie Dawe, chairman of the group, said it was excited to bring new work to Norwich.

'We are looking forward to seeing old friends and making new connections,' she added..

'It is an honour to be part of such an excellent and well received organisation that supports each other's aims. We hope that all our visitors enjoy the show where, as usual, they will find a superb and progressive body of work.'

New for this year, the group is offering the chance to win a £50 voucher for those attending the exhibition that can be used with any Breckland Artist.

The free draw will be for those wishing to join the group mailing list. The draw will take place at the end of the exhibition, with the winner being announced on the Breckland Artists' website.

Members of Breckland Artists have been exhibiting annually in East Anglia, and this summer's Forum collection is an exciting body of work which is a celebration of collaborative working.

With its exhibitions becoming increasingly popular in recent years, the group's members are confident that this exhibition will have something for everyone.

The exhibition runs at The Forum until Sunday.
