A magical Christmas experience comes to Dereham next month when the town's landmark windmill is visited by Santa.
The mill will be completely decorated ahead of the arrival of Father Christmas who will be greeting children between 1pm and 3.45pm on Sundays December 3, 10 and 17 as well as Saturday, December 16 and Friday, December 22.
Organiser Alison Webb said the event always proved popular with around 500 children visiting last year.
'We let each child stay with Father Christmas for as long as they want,' she said. 'Some of them won't go further than the door but others want a bit longer so we don't rush anyone out. We want each child to have quality time. It is something that becomes a lasting memory.'
The cost will be £6 per child and £2 each accompanying adult including a quality present for each child plus a mince pie for every adult from the coffee shop.
