Works to improve a busy pedestrian crossing for cyclists lasting two weeks will begin on Monday, November 5.
The Victoria Road crossing in Diss, outside the leisure centre, will be upgraded to a pedestrian and cycle crossing.
Norfolk County Council works will be completed under two-way traffic signals and a temporary road closure is in place for Sunday, November 18 between 7am - 7pm for the surfacing works.
An official diversion route will be in place on this day.
Victoria Road already has cycle lanes on the pavements, making the addition of a pedestrian and cycle crossing an added bonus for cyclists in the area.
The council has thanked people for their patience.
