A car was seized and driver warned as part of an undercover police crackdown on anti-social behaviour in supermarket car parks.
Police patrols using officers in plain clothes were carried out following reports of anti-social behaviour at Diss Park, the Mere Mouth and at supermarket car parks in the town.
The patrols on September 26 saw a car taken off the road after it was seen by officers being driven in a manner that was causing others to be alarmed.
The driver was spoken to by officers and it was subsequently found that he had already been given a Section 59 warning six months ago.
Section 59 allows the police to give drivers a warning if they are reported to have used their vehicle in a manner which causes "alarm, distress or annoyance". If reported to have done so again within a year the police have the right to confiscate the vehicle.
