Staff members at the school in The Street, Corton also donned new costumes for the day – with three of the teachers praised for their Three Little Pigs outfits.

A school spokesman said: 'Well done to all the children for dressing up in some amazing costumes for World Book Day.

'All the children and staff looked fantastic.'
