The Friends of Southwold Arts Festival were treated by Adnams brewery to a lively evening at the Cellar and Kitchen when the 2018 programme for the festival was launched.
Andy Wood, CEO of Adnams, gave an talk emphasising the benefits that the Festival has brought to the town and Lin Le Vesha, Director of the Festival, revealed the highlights of this year's programme and thanked all the volunteers who make the Festival possible.
The new logo for the Festival, a linocut of the lighthouse produced by local artist Kate Batchelor, was also unveiled. The original artwork will be auctioned by silent bids between the 1st March and the 30th June, with the winner announced at the end of the Festival. The picture may be viewed at Buckenham Galleries.
The festival will run for eight days between June 23 and June 30.
