An early morning commuter train to Norwich was cancelled due to train fault.

The service was due to leave Lowestoft railway station at 6.35am, stopping at Oulton Broad North, Somerleyton, Somerleyton, Reedham, Cantley and Brundall before reaching its final destination at Norwich at 7.20am.

But when passengers arrived to board the train, they were given an announcement that the service had been cancelled due to a train fault.

Services to Beccles and Ipswich are running as normal and commuters were told to next train to Norwich would run at 7.35am as planned, getting into Norwich at 8.20am.
