Fire crews are on the scene of a field fire at which an area of grassland is alight.
Firefighters were alerted at about 4.07pm following reports of a fire in a field on Southwold Road in Covehithe.
Crews from Lowestoft South, Wrentham and Saxmundham arrived to 250 square metres of grassland ablaze and are tackling the fire with two hoses and beaters.
