A blaze at a disused care home is being treated as arson by police.
Officers were called at around 9pm on Saturday, April 13, to reports of a fire at a property on Kirkley Cliff Road in Lowestoft.
Three fire crews - one from North Lowestoft and two from Lowestoft South fire station - were sent to deal with the blaze at a former care home.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using hose-reel jets and the scene was considered safe by 10.15pm.
The East of England Ambulance Service were also sent to the scene, although there were no casualties.
Investigating officers are treating the fire as arson and anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact Suffolk police on 101, quoting reference number 37/20895/19.
