Passengers travelling on a train were evacuated at a Suffolk station today after a fire broke out in the engine compartment.
Four appliances were sent to tackle the blaze at Halesworth Station, which involved a train made up of three carriages.
All passengers were evacuated and the automatic fire suppression system was activated shortly after 10.20am.
The flames were out on the arrival of the fire service, but they remained at the scene to ensure that there were no further signs of fire.
