A Dragon's Den-style fundraising event for charities and voluntary groups is to be held in Norwich in May.

Five groups will be chosen to pitch to invited guests who will donate to the organisations which have impressed them the most.

Jackie Higham, a member of The Funding Network, which is jointly running the event, said: 'The events are really great fun but it's also a great way of connecting donors with local voluntary and community groups which inspire them.'

The Norfolk Community Foundation is also involved.

Donations are expected to start at �100, and potential donors wishing to give to a Norfolk charity and keen to find out more are welcome to contact the Foundation to reserve a seat at the event, which is on May 19 at Dragon Hall in Norwich. The deadline for charity and voluntary group applications is Friday.
