The East Anglian Air Ambulance was scrambled after a man fell from a ladder in Thetford.
The Anglia One helicopter was called to the town at just after 1pm today after reports a man had fallen.
The team of Dr Haris Begovic and East of England Ambulance Trust (EEAST) Critical Care Paramedic Andy Downes were flown to the scene of the incident by Captain Stuart Mayor and landed in a small grassed area behind houses.
The man had sustained possible chest and abdominal injuries so upon arrival the team set about sedating the patient and immobilised his spine before he was airlifted and taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
