A south Norfolk primary school is closed to the majority of its pupils today following a fire in the school hall at the weekend.
Firefighters were called to St Andrew's Primary School in The Street, North Lopham, near Diss, at about 6pm yesterday.
Two crews tackled the blaze in the sports hall within 50 minutes, which left the school building smoke logged.
As a result, the Church of England primary school has been closed to years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and reception classes today.
Pupils in year 6 are set to go to school to sit their SATs exams, but will be sent home afterwards.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service is investigating the cause of the blaze.
