A woman in her 60s was airlifted to hospital this evening after she fell off her horse near Thetford.
The accident happened on a forestry track near the A134 at Lynford, near Mundford.
An ambulance spokesman said that she had serious injuries and had badly damaged her leg.
Emergency services were called just after 7pm and the woman was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
