Norwich International Airport is not expecting tomorrow's planned 24-hour strike by civil servants to effect any of its planned flights.
The airport has taken the step of reassuring passengers by posting on Twitter. The tweet read: 'UK Border Control Agency Strike – We do not anticipate any impact on our airport operations at Norwich International.'
Nationally, airports have warned travellers to expect disruption on arrival into the UK as immigration and customs officers join the strikes. Passengers have been advised to consider travelling on a different day to avoid delays.
For more on how the strikes will effect Norfolk, see tomorrow's EDP.
