Emergency services spent more than two hours at the scene of a crash in Weston Longville this morning (Thursday).
The crash happened in Weston Hall Road just after 2am when a Vauxhall Astra hit a tree.
Firefighters from Reepham and Earlham in Norwich went to the scene and used rescue equipment to release the driver from his car, which the tree had fallen on top of.
Police and ambulance crews also went to the crash and the man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, although police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. The road was partially blocked while the emergency services dealt with the crash.
Fire crews stayed at the scene until just after 4am.
