A fire which caused long delays in King's Lynn was suspicious, Norfolk fire service said tonight.
Crews were called to Lynn Road, Gaywood, after the alarm was raised at 4.15pm.
They arrived to find two sheds alight, in the rear gardens of properties next to the Gaywood Tesco.
The main A148 was partially blocked for more than an hour, with traffic queued back to the town centre, as four fire crews fought the blaze.
At one point it was feared the flames would spread to the supermarket's roof space, as its guttering began to melt.
The fire took more than an hour to bring under control, with the help of hoses laid across the busy road to bring extra water supplies to the scene.
Tonight a fire service spokesman said an investigation team had been called in, because the fire was believed to be of suspicious origin.
The blaze is the latest in a series of suspicious fires in the Gaywood area of King's Lynn.
