A 71-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries after falling off a ladder in Dereham.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance landed in the residential area of Toftwood after emergency crews were called to an address in Watersfield Way at 5.42pm on Tuesday.
The man had suffered injuries to his head and an eye socket but the helicopter was not required as the casualty was taken by land ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the man was fully alert and breathing normally after the accident and, although there was some bleeding, it was not considered immediately life-threatening.
