Rain failed to dampen the spirits of revellers in Norwich on Sunday as thousands returned to the Norfolk Showground for the second day of the Norfolk Spectacular.

Despite the rain the site was busier than Saturday as around 20,000 arrived to see some of the UK's top music acts.

On Sunday, the top acts included Tinchy Stryder, who was pulled off stage for overrunning, Labrinth, Taio Cruz and Tinie Tempah, with N-Dubz finishing the two-day festival with what is rumoured to be their last performance together for a year and a half as they go on to pursue solo careers.

Before taking to the stage, Tinie Tempah's DJ whipped up the crowd.

He then ran through some of his top his with the crowd singing along to Frisky, Invincible and Love Suicide, before finishing spectacularly with Pass Out.

The Arena Stage was headlined by Terrorvision.

One of the people enjoying the day despite the weather was Barbara Presley, from Thorpe St Andrew.

She said: 'It is really good. I am nearly 64 and I have stuck it out.

'I really wanted to see Tinie Tempah and I thought Taio Cruz was brilliant.'

Gina Webb and her children Jack, 10, and Olivia, 11, and Sarah Broom, 35, and her 10 year old Jack, all from Surlingham, said they were there to see N-Dubz and that the weather had not put them off.

Mrs Webb, 35, said: 'It's not a festival without the rain.'

Norfolk Spectacular had been the brainchild of festival organiser Roy Trickett who described the weekend as 'fantastic' and revealed he was already in discussions with six artists for next year.

He said: 'We plan on getting better and better. Watch out for next year.'

Yesterday's event proved a success with large crowds basking in the sunshine in front of the main stage that welcomed the likes of Example, Professor Green and Chase and Status.
