Thieves stole an engine and pump from a large item of farm machinery in Hindringham.
The 10,000 litre water bowser, which was targeted by the criminals, was parked in an area used to store sugar beet.
Damage was caused to the pipes during the theft which happened between 6pm on Wednesday, October 5 and 7am the following day.
