Police have been granted permission to question two men for a further 30 hours following the discovery of more than �10m worth of class A drugs in Brandon.
The men, one from Thetford and one from London, both 56, were arrested on Monday on suspicion of the importation of cocaine and possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply, following an operation into the importation of drugs.
Both are being held in custody at the Bury Police Investigation Centre.
Magistrates this morning (Wednesday) granted an extension for the men to remain in custody for further questioning for 30 hours.
It is estimated the drugs, seized yesterday at a business unit on Highbury Road, had a street value of in excess �10m, the largest haul of class A drugs ever recovered in Suffolk.
The investigation was lead by Suffolk Police with the assistance of the UK Border Agency.
