A public meeting will be held in Thelnetham, near Diss, next week to form a volunteer group to take over the running of the village's historic windmill.
The 19th century construction is ready to turn and grind flour again and volunteer help is needed to open the mill to the public and to sell its own flour again.
There is a meeting in Thelnetham Village Hall on Friday, March 9 at 7.30pm to gauge the interest in forming a local volunteer group to take over running the mill.
The range of help required is from opening the mill and talking to visitors, making refreshments, guided tours, to clearing ground, cutting grass, operating the mill, grinding flour, and maintaining its machinery.
Expert help and tuition will come from the enthusiasts who rescued and repaired the mill in the 1980s and have since then kept it in prime condition, but do not live close enough to open or run it regularly.
