Dozens of youngsters in a north Suffolk village have proved there is strong demand for a skate park for their community after they took advantage of a temporary one on Saturday.
Young people in Worlingham spent the day trying out a mobile skate park in the grounds of Worlingham Middle School on high flying foot scooters.
Saturday's temporary site was set up after Luke Ellis, 13, wrote to the parish council to ask for a permanent one so youngsters do not have to travel to Beccles to enjoy their hobby.
The council paid 700 for the mobile site supplied by Highline Adventure of Downham Market, and will now look at ways to improve youth facilities.
