Suffolk fire and rescue service was called to Cratfield, near Halesworth, today after a blaze in an empty poultry shed.
Fire engines from Stradbroke, Eye, Bungay, Halesworth and Beccles were joined in North Green by an appliance and a water carrier from Leiston.
Straw inside the shed, approximately 100m by 50m, caught fire at about 11.30am. It spread to engulf the rest of the building, before the fire service was able to extinguish it shortly before 1.30pm.
