Open Space Theatre Company presents 'Betrayal' by Harold Pinter at Diss Corn Hall on Thursday, May 24, at 7.30pm.
Betrayal touches many people at various times in their lives, whether it involves a wife or husband, a friend or a work colleague.
Harold Pinter's most famous play is about an extra-marital affair but its underlying theme is not sex or adultery but the behaviour of betrayal; the lies, the evasions, the sudden dangers, the panic and the contradictory feelings behind deftly engineered masks.
And by moving backwards in time, Pinter's brilliantly crafted script replaces the question of 'what happens next' with the deeper 'how' and 'why'.
Tickets 9.50/8. Box Office www.disscornhall.co.uk, 01379 652241 or visit 11am-4pm, Monday-Saturday.
