Age UK Norfolk, formerly Age Concern Norfolk, is working with Harleston Information Plus to hold an information afternoon in the town.

There will be a talk about the services offered by Age UK Norfolk, which include advice about benefits, pensions, lasting power of attorney, finding care homes, advocacy, the befriender's scheme, day care and respite care services. There will then be an opportunity to talk confidentially to an Age UK adviser.

Julie Helsby, of Harleston Information Plus, said: 'Age UK Norfolk offer a range of very valuable services to older people, so we wanted to hold an event in the town so local people can find out what is available.'

The event, funded by the Big lottery project, is taking place at Harleston Over-60s Club meeting at King George's Hall on Thursday, July 19, starting at 2pm. People of all ages are welcome.

Entry �1, which will go towards Over-60s Club funds. Free refreshments.
