A fundraising appeal has been launched for a Hingham care centre to buy a new minibus.
Hassingham House is looking to raise 20,000 for the bus to take patients on monthly day trips.
Staff and residents began fundraising with a one mile sponsored walk on Thursday from the centre in Hardingham Street.
Les King came to start off the proceedings, with the youngest participant aged two-years-old and the oldest 86-years-old. Everyone who participated received a medal and a cup, the evening ended with a barbecue.
This is the first of three sponsored walks and organisers are hoping to raise around 500.
The centre cares for people between the ages of 30 and 100 years, with neurological disorders, learning disabilities, dementia and physically disabled.
