The 22-year-old Norwich man arrested in connection with the death of a man in central Norwich answered bail today and has been released on a further police bail pending continuing enquiries.
The investigation follows the death of 34-year-old William Phillips in Oak Street on Wednesday, July 18.
Mr Phillips, of Derby Street, Norwich, died after he was involved in the altercation near to the doctor's surgery in Oak Street, off St Crispins Road, at around 8.50am.
He received initial treatment at the surgery and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
