A record number of classic and sports cars are set to take centre stage at the third annual Classic and Sports Cars by the Lake event this weekend.
Taking place on September 9, from 11am to 4.30pm, the popular event will raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
All proceeds from the day will go to the charity, which cares for people suffering life-shortening illness, and their families, in West Suffolk and Thetford.
Once again Hall Farm, in Fornham St Martin, near Bury St Edmunds, will host the event, where members of the public are invited to take their families – and a picnic – to enjoy more than 250 cars and numerous attractions in the picturesque setting.
At the end of the event, visitors will be able to enjoy a new experience the roar of the engines of hundreds of eye-catching vehicles as they exit the site.
Spectators will be able to gather along the exit route to watch and listen as the exhibiting cars take part in a grand final exit parade.
Tickets will be available on the day, costing 6 per adult, 4 for concessions or 15 for a family ticket (two adults and two children). Children under five can attend for free.
