Details of a 25-home development on the site of the former Dereham swimming pool have been approved by councillors.
General plans for the De Narde Road location were approved in 2008, but a more detailed application outlining the layout of the area and type of houses went before Breckland Council's planning committee yesterday.
Councillors heard that 10 of the homes would be reserved for affordable housing, while 15 would be sold on the open market.
Planning officer Nick Moys said the plans had a 'rather suburban layout' that was in keeping with the character of the area, and councillors approved the application unanimously.
