Weird, wonderful and wacky costumes brightened up the school day in aid of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.
Dahlicious Dress-up Day saw youngsters at Archbishop Sancroft High School, in Harleston, celebrating their favourite characters from Roald Dahl's timeless tales last Friday.
The pupils drew inspiration for their outfits from books such as George's Marvellous Medicine, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, The BFG, The Witches, James and the Giant Peach and The Twits.
Annette Millea, head of English, said: 'This is the first time we have participated in Dahlicious Day and as our new year 7s are currently reading Boy, Roald Dahl's autobiography of his childhood, we thought this would be an exciting opportunity for our students to immerse themselves in the world of Roald Dahl characters.'
Pupil Jack Lester said: 'It was great fun.'
Bethany Bullen added: 'It really brings the books to life.'
Pupils were raising money for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, which helps children and young people with serious rare blood or brain conditions.
The charity was founded as the Roald Dahl Foundation in 1991 by Felicity Dahl, his widow, shortly after his death. Since then, it has given more than 7m in funding to help children in the UK living with serious haematological and neurological conditions.
