The railings outside one of Norwich's historic landmarks were turned into an open-air art gallery today.
Artist Simon Warner, from Whittington, braved the wintery start to Saturday morning and displayed some of his cartoons and life drawings outside St Peter Mancroft Church for the Easter weekend Art on the Railings event.
Organised by Norwich City Council's events team, the monthly Art on the Railings exhibition invites local artists to show off their talent and display their work against the dramatic backdrop of St Peter Mancroft Church. The event aims to help to promote culture in the city, and celebrate Norwich's history of art.
Art on the Railings will take place on the last full weekend of each month until November. Artists who would like to exhibit and sell work at Art on the Railings should email events@norwich.gov.uk
