The Great Yarmouth and Gorleston lifeboat Samarbeta was called out at 7.50pm on Saturday to help a fishing vessel.
The vessel, Growler, had broken down close to the Swan Buoy, near Hopton-on-Sea.
A spokesman for the RNLI said the Samarbeta was quickly on the scene and towed the stricken boat to its berth on the river Yare. The two man crew were unharmed.
