A father and son who climbed up Britain's highest mountain together have raised over £1,300 for a testicular cancer charity.
Stephen Hall, 50, and Callum Hall, 16, from Rippingall Close, Aylsham, were among 70 people who recently took part in the BraveHart Challenge 2013 – climbing Ben Nevis.
The group was led by former Norwich City and Celtic player John Hartson.
The footballer was treated for testicular cancer in 2009 and has since recovered.
He set up the John Hartson Foundation to raise awareness of the disease and the BraveHart Challenge has been running for the past three years in aid of the charity.
Mr Hall, who works for Barnwell Printers, in Aylsham, said: 'Everyone was encouraging each other on. John Hartson was really nice; nothing was too much trouble for him. He was impressed with Callum for taking part.'
