Beer drinkers who cannot wait for the start of the Norwich festival, on Monday, can enjoy another celebration of the amber nectar at a popular city pub.
The Murderers' ninth beer festival started yesterday and runs until Sunday, November 3.
Phil Cutter, landlord at the Timberhill pub, said: 'The festival's now going from strength to strength. This year we have over 60 beers to choose from.'
Beers available come from up and down the country, from Tyne and Wear to Cornwall, but many Norfolk and Suffolk brews are also featured.
Breweries from our region that are represented include Lacons' and Fakir's from Great Yarmouth, Woodforde's from Woodbastwick, Wolf from Attleborough, Elmtree from Snetterton, Golden Triangle from Norwich and Green Jack from Lowestoft.
The Murderers' festival will run concurrently with the 36th Norwich Beer Festival, which ends on Saturday, November 2.
Organised by the Norwich and Norfolk branch of Camra (the Campaign for Real Ale), it will again be held at St Andrew's and Blackfriars' Halls.
