Police in Lowestoft are appealing for information after a woman in her mid-60s had her bag snatched in Lowestoft this morning.
The woman had been walking along St Margarets Road, between Park Road and Jubilee Way, at about 11.20am when a male pushed her and knocked her to the ground.
The robber then grabbed her black shopping bag, which contained about £10 in cash and personal items, before fleeing.
Police said the female victim went to the doctors for checks and has been left shaken following the incident.
The robber was wearing a dark coloured jacket, dark coloured trousers and a hat and appeared to have dark curly hair underneath.
It is possible he was wearing a yellow hooded top under the jacket.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Lowestoft CID on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously if required, on 0800 555 111.
