An inquest has opened into the death of a cyclist who died after a crash on the A140 at Marsham.
Norfolk senior coroner Jacqueline Lake said she understood that 57-year-old Paul Grenville, of Earlham West Centre, Norwich, was cycling from Aylsham towards Norwich when he was in a collision which involved two other vehicles.
The road, just south of Aylsham, was blocked in both directions around Marsham, near to the Fengate junction, following the crash on December 1 as emergency services - including police and fire crews from Sprowston and Earlham - went to the crash scene close to the Plough Inn.
Traffic was diverted and it is understood that staff in the nearby Plough Inn telephoned the police and customers, including a firefighter and a doctor, went to help at the crash scene.
One of the drivers was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
