The great and good of King's Lynn joined Norfolk's High Sheriff, the Countess of Leicester and distinguished guests from the legal profession for this year's traditional justice service at Lynn Minster.
Norfolk's police and crime commissioner Stephen Bett, Lord-Lieutenant Richard Jewson, and coroner Jacqueline Lake were also present.
The guests went to the church from Lynn Town Hall in a procession behind the civic mace-bearers.
The sermon this year was read by the Revd Canon William Sayer, chaplain to the Countess of Leicester, and the prayers were led by the Archdeacon of Lynn, the Ven John Ashe.
