Thieves have made off with 1,800 litres of red diesel after breaking into a farm in Ickburgh.
Entry was forced to several outbuildings during the incident, which took place between 5pm on March 1 and 6am the following morning at a premises in Swaffham Road.
It is believed that the offenders gained access to the site across a field and so would have required a four-wheel drive vehicle, according to police.
Anyone with information should call PC Mark Ellis at Thetford Police Station on 101.
