More than 100 dogs, most of them labradoodles, bounded onto Winterton beach for a mass walk.
Dog owners from across Norfolk and Suffolk took part in a group walk today organised by the Norfolk Doodlers, a support network for local labradoodle owners. Coordinator Sarah Solomon, owner of three curly-coated doodles, had expected about 50 dogs to turn up - and was over the moon when almost double that arrived in the Sunday sunshine.
Labradoodles are a cross between the labrador retriever and the poodle and come in all shapes, sizes and colour.
'It's fantastic to see them all together,' said Mrs Solomon, who brought home her first doodle, Lyra, four years ago.
'There must be 200 people here and maybe more than 100 dogs.
'We often organise these walks because it's great to see them socialised like this. The group is really our support network; it's somewhere we can ask questions or get advice about the breed.'
