Excited youngsters are rejoicing at the installation of colourful new play equipment at a Cromer park - just in time for the summer holidays.
The shiny adventure area and climbing web are thanks to a determined group of mums who set up the Meadow Park Revamp campaign - securing funding from North Norfolk District Council.
Group treasure Simone Hopwood, who runs the Wellington Pub in Cromer, said she was relieved the equipment had finally arrived more than a year and a half after the group was created.
She said: 'The kids are absolutely loving it. It has always been a well-used park and now they have lovely new equipment.'
Her seven-year-old daughter Connie Rudwell, said her favourite new piece of equipment was the colourful castle.
She said: 'It is much better than I expected, my mummy has worked really hard.'
At the park with his daughter Grace, seven, was 45-year-old Simon Clipsom, who said he had played at the park as a boy 40 years ago.
'There are a few things that have stayed the same such as the parallel bars,' he said. 'It is amazing how much busier the park is with the new equipment.
'It is good for Cromer and the kids by getting them away from televisions and computers. They are obviously really enjoying it.'
The new equipment was installed two weeks ago, and the park is still awaiting picnic tables and a self-closing gate.
And the park, which received a share of a £100,000 pot of money from the district council, will be officially launched with a Meadow Park Fun Day on August 3 from 1pm to 4pm.
The afternoon will include face painting, a barbecue and bouncy castle.
Group chairman Gemma Bailey, 31, a lettings manager, said a special thanks to local businesses who had supported the group throughout the campaign and at their first fundraising event in 2012.
