Artists' studios and community exhibition spaces in the district will be throwing open their doors to visitors for a week as they take part in the annual Breckland Art Trail.
Now in its third year, the art trail welcomes back some familiar artists, as well as some new faces for 2014.
This year there are 57 artists taking part at 25 venues with a huge variety of work on display, including sculpture, paintings, prints, ceramics, metalwork and textiles.
For those who want to try something a little more hands on, there's an exciting addition to this year's trail with a programme of demonstrations and workshops for visitors.
These include blacksmith Nigel Barnett at Fransham Forge offering iron work taster sessions, ceramic Christmas decoration making for adults and children with Amy Brewster at Amy's Art Barn in Welborne, a ceramic workshop with Sarah Caputo at the Trinity Methodist Church hall in Dereham, watercolour demonstration at Swaffham community centre, a drop spindling and crochet techniques workshop with Lizbeth Cranmer in Scarning and botanical watercolour painting demonstrations at Gooderstone.
In a change to the published brochure photographer Phil Croucher has had to withdraw but will be replaced by another photographer Erin Patel.
The event runs from November 8 to 16.
Lynda Turner, Breckland's executive member for community and environmental services said: 'Once again, we have a huge range of work from talented local artists on display for residents to admire and enjoy. From watercolours, botanical painting, print and photography, to ceramics, woodwork, glass and ironwork – there's bound to be something to suit everyone.
'We're especially pleased that this year we're able to offer workshops and demonstrations as part of the trail. These were included in response to requests from visitors to the trail last year.'
Brochures, giving details of artists' work and featuring a map showing the venues, are available in Breckland libraries, customer service centres, tourist information centres, leisure centres and town council offices.
