The south Norfolk town of Harleston fell silent at 11am as residents and veterans reflected on the sacrifices made by service personnel for their country.
The Remembrance Sunday parade formed up at the Market Place for 10.30am and then set off to the town's war memorial which is off Broad Street for a wreath laying ceremony.
The war memorial lists the names of 97 men who died in conflicts, with 73 from the First World War and 24 from the Second World War.
