Families took the chance to enjoy some of the Bank Holiday sunshine by walking among some stunning bluebells in woodland on the outskirts of the city.
Bluebell Walks were held at St Peter's Church and Grange Farm in Spixworth throughout the three-day weekend with the best of the weather being reserved for yesterday.
The walks, which took place between 11am and 4.30pm on Saturday, Sunday and yesterday, helped raise funds for the church.
Organiser Sheelah Cook said: 'We've had lots of people. It's not just about raising money. People are going out and having a lovely time. We've tried to do things a little bit different so did a flower festival as well which will be up until Friday.'
People taking part in the walk yesterday left more than £120 in a jar for those affected by the earthquake in Nepal.
