The spirit of VE Day was on show in Diss as a celebratory street party was held on the town's Fair Green.
On Saturday the Fair Green Neighbourhood Association organised event saw wartime jeeps on display, a Winston Churchill look-a-like, period music and costumes and games and rides for children to enjoy as people enjoyed picnics.
Diss mayor Keith Kiddie attended the 1940s street party and said: 'In times of relative peace and affluence it is nice to remember what that magnificent generation went through.
'It is also nice to show the community spirit in Diss.'
