The A47 in Great Yarmouth has now reopened following a crash earlier this evening.
The Acle Straight was closed in both directions between Runham Roundabout in Great Yarmouth and Acle Roundabout in Acle because of the two-vehicle collision, which happened at about 5.40pm today.
The crash involved a Seat Leon and a VW Golf.
Two fire crews, one from Great Yarmouth and one from Gorleston, attended the scene and firefighters helped one person out of a vehicle using enhanced hydraulic rescue equipment.
A Norfolk police spokesman said nobody was believed to have been seriously injured.
The road was reopened by about 7.45pm this evening.
