These hand-crafted models which interpret the nativity scene are entries in a competition held at a festival celebrating the start of Advent.
Among them were scenes put together with knitted figures, Lego bricks and even toilet roll holders – but collectively they were the focus of the nativity festival at Walpole St Peter's Church, near Wisbech.
Churchwarden Michael Anstey said: 'It was wonderful to see so many different and creative displays of the nativity scene.
'All had been crafted with very different materials by various people and groups around the village – it was lovely that so many people took part,'
He added: 'It was also lovely that so many visited the church for the festival and admired the efforts that had gone into the models.'
As well as the nativity scenes, the church had organised various stalls and activities throughout the day.
For children, there was also a story corner and Santa's Post Office was open for Christmas lists to be written and posted.
As the day drew to a close, the Christmas tree lights were switched on and carols sung alongside the Wisbech Salvation Army Band.
