The Norfolk sky was full of colour last night as skywatchers were treated to a display of the Northern Lights.

It is one of nature's most stunning visual displays and there is a 20pc chance that tonight people will be able to capture the beauty of mother nature again.

Our readers were busy capturing these brilliant images over the weekend.

Ben Gadsby-Williams took this time lapse video, shot from Morston Quay on Sunday.

To fully enjoy the northern lights you usually need a plane ticket much further north.

But the region was treated to the display after an explosion from the sun caused particles to fall, generating a magnetic storm which in turn allowed us to see Aurora Borealis.
