Norfolk Trading Standards are warning people to be aware of a costly 'copycat' website scam.
Posting on Facebook, Norfolk Trading Standards warned people looking to apply for, or to renew, a Blue Badge application online to look out for websites charging over the £10 application charge.
Some sites which claim to be offering an application route, are in fact charging £49 to 'prepare' an application which applicants will then have to submit to the genuine authority, still paying the £10 application fee.
• Anyone looking to apply for or to renew a blue badge application online is advised to ensure they are using the correct website which can be found here
