A multi-million pound plan to protect the coastline at Hopton will be discussed by Great Yarmouth borough councillors this evening.
The scheme would be built along a stretch of beach near the Potters Resort and the £3m-£4m cost would be wholly funded by the company.
Sand levels at Hopton have dropped by three metres (10ft) in the last five years.
A similar project has been built at Bourne Leisure resort north of the Potters resort at a cost of around £8m.
More than 80,000 tonnes of Norwegian granite was shipped in and piled up to create 10 new rock groynes.
The plans will be discussed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council at its Development Control Committee which meets this evening at 6.30pm with planning officers recommending it for approval.
